L Larry Jenkins March 5, 2021

My sincere condolences to Peggy's family and loved ones. I was in Peggy's class at Perry High School and she was my date to the prom in our senior year. She was just a such a pleasant, cheerful, and kind young lady.

J Judy Cummings March 2, 2021

Glenn and family, sending my sincere condolences on the loss of Peggy. She was a very talented special person. She will be missed by many. I enjoyed knowing and working with her at First Lutheran. I never heard her complain and she loved sharing her love for music. She lives on in all those she touched.

H Heather Bopes (Trenkamp) February 28, 2021

Peggy gave me one of the best gifts in my life, the love and skill to play piano. I was a former student of hers and had my first (and last) piano recital in 2002. I remember 'quitting' lessons after a few years due to some family issues but continued to practice and use my skill every day since. I was so excited to see her again in 2017 at Mr. Crawford's retirement party to thank her for everything she did for me. I am only one of the many people she touched with her love and gift of music. I hope it brings her family comfort that her light, smile, and energy will have a lasting impression on each and every person she encountered. When I pull out my old piano lesson books for my son, I'll have biggest smile on my face each time I see the sticker on the page that she gave me.

Dear Glen, Jeremy, and Family,

We are so saddened by this news.  Peggy lived just up the street from us on Otley Avenue in Perry, in the middle of the next block, between 6th and 7th. We talked with  Peg at the Perry High School "Class of 1968" 50th Reunion in 2018 . It was so good to see her and catch up.  She seemed so happy and full of life and energy. She sure loved living in Maquoketa. My parents and hers were close, and of course there was always music.  I remember Peggy's heart operation when we were all in junior high school.  We all visited her to encourage her after that operation... There was that fragile beauty about Peggy and yet so much energy, too...  Always that twinkle in her eye.  She will be greatly missed.

With Our Prayers for Glen, Jeremy and Kate, Mackenzie and Miles, and All the Family,

David and Mika

Sending love to you Glen, Jeremy, and family. Peggy was always a welcoming and smiling face of encouragement. My memories of singing in youth choir under her direction leave a lasting impression of her warmth. May her body rest in peace and her spirit dance with joy.

The Broman family extends its most sincere condolences on Peggy's passing. She most certainly loved music and because of that there was a natural bond with all of us. She will be missed but we would like her family to know that she was not a blessing for us but a true friend as well. Rest in peace, Peggy. JACK BROMAN

H Hope Broman February 25, 2021

My heart is hurting for you, Glenn, Jeremy and family. I have so many memories of Peggy. She was one of the most loving, kind, patient, positive, supportive and spiritual person that I had the blessing to know. She gave me my very first Christmas ornament, which I still lovingly place on my tree. She trusted me with babysitting her sweet baby Jeremy and didn't laugh too hard when I put my very first cloth diaper on wrong... very wrong! She patiently put up with my very social personality in youth choir and my mediocre, at best, accompaniment. She had me over to bake cookies, and offered to go shopping with me when I didn't feel that I looked good in anything. She was generous with her hugs and always had a warm and loving smile. She will be greatly missed here on earth, but, God definitely got an angel. Prayers for peace and comfort.

Glenn, Jeremy and Family, you are in my prayers and thoughts. We know God is always with us and will be there wnen we call him. One of the thins Peggy use to tell me about was that she would not live to meet her Grandchildren. I know, as you do that she cherished them and you also. Rest in peace my friend Peggy.

L Linda Bartels Heyde February 23, 2021

Even as a teenager, I remember Peggy as always having a smile on her face and a warm, loving personality. I appreciate her patience in putting up with my mediocre (at best) piano accompaniment for her children's choir. Hopefully I was a better babysitter than I was a piano player! My prayers are with all of you as you grieve the loss of such a special mother and wife.

D Donna Bartels February 23, 2021
