What a loving and happy person Bev was. It was always wonderful to see her at school events. We had our "Bennett" ties that we shared and always enjoyed our visits about Bennett. She loved her family more than anything and was not shy to demonstrate that love. My deepest sympathies to the whole family, especially Derrick and Emily. No words can ease your pain. Only time and the wonderful memories you have with your Mom will carry you through these dark days. From experience I will share that you need to talk about her often, look at old pictures, tell stories you have of her. In that way, she will be with you always.

CandleWe are at a loss for words. This was shocking, breath taking news when we heard of her passing. She was such a great lady and we are saddened to hear about this. She will be deeply missed. Our daughter, Elizabeth just went through head start last year and really grew attached to Bev and Susie. We had several of our other kids that passed through there as well. They are just so amazing with the kids. I always knew that when I left she was always in good hands! Elizabeth looked forward to going everyday to learn something new with Bev and Susie. Her year was cut short with them because of COVID but they continued to make sure they kept in contact over the app “Class Dojo” with a bunch of special activities for the kids or we met with Susie to pick up work. These two ladies are really something special to our family! Elizabeth was able to see Bev one last time when we ran into her at Dollar Tree a few months back and I am so thankful for that. She has grown and learned so much because of Bev and Susie. Thank you! We will miss you Bev, you have touched so many lives! Love you much! Thought and prayers go out to the family.

Rick and family you have our thoughts and prayers. I got to know Bev through Judy O’Hara and Derrick is really good friends with my son Garrett. Bev was always with a smile, she will be missed.

C Connie Bonney February 12, 2021

Ah that smile, could light up a room and the whole state of Texas, she wore it well and used it often.. Many a meals she made for the little ones at Head Start, and a fine job she did...She did a fine job raising the kids and keeping Ricky in line too.. Rest easy now, sure God will have you in his kitchen soon. Thinking of the family at this very hard time.
