I am happy to say Wayne was a good friend and a very hard worker that I had the good luck of working with for many years as I combined his crops. I don't remember him complaining as we worked together Harvesting his crops., many times as we worked long hours so I could Harvest my own crops. He was always ready to go out of his way to get the job done.
I was sorry to hear of Wayne's passing (and Arlene's last November). Dr. Dave and I were glad we got to know both Wayne and Arlene when we lived at Preston.
Wayne I wish we could have made it to the funeral. It would seem mother nature had a different idea. rest in peace . You will always be in our hearts and minds.
I took care of Wayne and his lovely wife,Arlene , as a travel nurse. We would always have little chats at night about the weather and my home state of Tennessee. They reminded of my parents. We continued to have these chats after Arlene passed about the farm and the weather. Now they are together again in the greatest reunion. Prayers for his nephew and the rest of the family. It was a great a privilege to have taken care of them and I will never forget them.
Wayne and I were classmates aat Preston high school class of 1949
