Bradley Joe Coin was born on May 23, 1962 in Milan, Missouri to Wayne Edward and Sharon Joyce (Pierson) Coin. He was a graduate of Danville High School in Danville, Iowa. He married Angela King in 1982 and two children were born to this union, Gabe and Lacey. They later divorced and he married Rhonda Murr in 1998 and they had two children together, Brandon and Derek.

He had first worked at Litton Machinery in Davenport for several years, then J.C. Dubil in Bettendorf, and later B & C Home Improvement in Davenport. For the past 12 years he had owned and operated B & D Pitstop in Maquoketa.

Bradley was a member of many area racing organizations. He was an avid racing and NASCAR fan and as a local track favorite Brad had a great passion for others succeeding. From his addictive personality and sense of humor to setting up others race cars. He truly enjoyed what he was doing. His kids knew what racing was all about growing up and have been a part of the entire racing family. It makes us all stronger to hear about the lives he has touched through such a great sport.

Those left to honor his memory include his children and grandchildren, Gabe Coin of Grand Island, NE, Lacey (Jason) Daedlow of Eldridge, IA, Brandon (Shaye) Coin of Bellevue, IA and Derek (and fiancé Emma) Coin of Bellevue, IA; 5 grandchildren with one on the way, Brecken and Brycen Welsh, Kyleigh and Taylor Coin and Zoey Coin; his mother, Joyce Coin of Milan, MO; and siblings, John (Jen) Coin of Troy, MO, Amy (Mark) Schnecking of Grinnell, IA, and Robin (Kenny) Keller of Canton, MO. He was preceded in death by his father, a nephew Darrin Cale, and a brother-in-law Kevin Makus.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Bradley J. Coin memorial fund has been established.
