Hi Darleen, glad you have gone to see Kenny! We had such fun at the Town and Country and at Church.....Love you.....Chuck
To Darleen's family,
My Mom, Dorothy Rock, was a cousin of her husband, Kenny. My Mom passed away in April 1994 but was in the hospital in Maquoketa for weeks & I spent every day with her. Darleen came several different days to visit but Mom being in a coma much of the time she visited me & kept me company!! She also took me out to lunch a few days!! I live in WI but anytime we came back to Iowa & had time we stopped at FlapJack restaurant to say "hi" to Darleen. She was a sweetheart & I tried to keep in touch with her the years after my Mom passed!! I loved hearing from her! My warmest & most heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family!! God Bless you!! Sending a hug I missed giving her the last few years!!
It was our pleasure to know Darlene for many years while living in Maquoketa. She always shared a smile. Darrel and Sharon Rettig

Oh miss Darlene.... I hope it comforts your family that you are up where you belong.
Darlene would talk about meals while dining; claiming she made it all. But she'd never give me her recipes..... She was a wonderful lady and will be missed by many....
