Hildreth F. Bud Ward age 85 of Anamosa Iowa died on Thursday evening September 22004.0 at the home of his sister Phyllis Scott with whom he resided in rural Anamosa Iowa.A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday September 52004.0 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa with Rev. Iola McCutcheon officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 P.M. on Saturday September 42004.0 at the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa. Burial will be in the Monmouth Iowa Cemetery.Hildreth F. Bud Ward was born on April 23 1919 near Monmouth Iowa to Adelbert H. Ward and Lily Viola (Lantz) Ward. He never married.Bud had worked at DAC Inc. in Maquoketa for 28 years and had lived most of his life in Jones and Jackson County. Bud was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Onslow Iowa. He enjoyed polka music visiting and talking with people working rabbits and fixing his brother's tractors.He is survived by: 2 sisters- Phyllis Scott of Anamosa IA & Florence McCutcheon of Delmar IA; 1 brother- Raymond (Darlene) Ward of Center Junction IA; nieces & nephews great nieces & nephews & great-great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.A Hildreth F. Bud Ward Memorial Fund has been established.
