The year 2020 has been a year like no other. All of us have
experienced grief and loss as we have faced changes brought on by
the pandemic. Many have walked the path of grief and loss
isolated, without the support of friends and family. As the holidays
approach, the weight of this journey can feel even more daunting.
We just need a moment to hear words of guidance and solace, to
connect with others on this journey, even if it is in a virtual space.
Pastor Alberta Ervin and Funeral Celebrant Colleen Petaros will lead us in a
virtual service where we acknowledge the losses we face due to the
pandemic and the losses we feel because there is an empty chair at our
table. The service is nondenominational. We will have a time of
remembering, of candle lighting and connecting with each other, even from
