Todd's Obituary 
Todd A. Mang, 48, of Maquoketa, Iowa, died suddenly, Saturday morning, October 20, 2012, at his home in Maquoketa.
Friends and family may gather for "One Last Party"® in remembrance of Todd on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. in "The Bistro" at the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa.
Todd Allen Mang was born on October 18, 1964 in Lafayette, Indiana, to William Lee and Georgian Roselilly (Rothrock) Mang. He was a 1983 graduate of Maquoketa Community High School.
Todd had worked at Pacific Coast Feather Company in Maquoketa as a Shipping Manager for over 20 years. He then worked for a short time at Stetson Industries in Maquoketa. For the past two years he had worked for Jacobsen Trucking in Moline, Illinois as a Shipping Supervisor.
Todd was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club in Maquoketa and a former member of the Maquoketa Kiwanis Club. He had served as a 2nd Ward councilman for the city of Maquoketa for 18 months from 2009 to 2011 and then again was appointed to an at-large position in January of 2012. He had resigned in March due to work obligations out of town.
Todd enjoyed camping, fishing, playing darts and shooting pool. He especially enjoyed his Harley Davidson and was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears.
Those left to honor his memory include his children, Jessica (Jeremy) Furry of Maquoketa, IA, Shawn (Jenny) Mang of Maquoketa, IA, Sheena Mang of Maquoketa, IA, and Jennifer Rose (Mike) Lipper of Iowa City, IA; 17 grandchildren; his father, William Mang of Frankfurt, IN; his step-father, Harlan "Mac" Johnson of Miller, MO; a brother, Steve (Linda) Mang of Frankfurt, IN; sisters, Paula (Steve) Woodard of Frankfurt, IN, and Sally Gardner of Frankfurt, IN; and his girlfriend, Pamela Thompson of Maquoketa, IA. He was preceded in death by his mother.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Todd A. Mang memorial fund has been established.

i have known todd since i was 15 and we were very close he was my best friend we reconnected and fell in love again i will and do miss him sooo much it hurts daily

I met Todd in 7th grade when he was the new kid. We sat next to each other in shop class. It started a friendship that has lasted all these years. He grew up and matured a lot after high school and was always a great guy. Im sure his wonderful mom and him are having a great time.My condolences to his kids, his family and Pam. I sure will miss our talks bud.
I became friends with Todd this year at work. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. We had a lot in common after getting to know each other personally.
All too often we find ourselves worrying about tomorrow instead of enjoying the day. Each day is a gift and we should never take this for granted.
James 4:14 says: "Whereas you know not what shall be tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away."
I enjoyed the years having Todd as a friend and coworker. I will forever cherish those memories. Todd my friend, God Speed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Todd was an excellent boss . He was a person you could go to with a problem . He made time for anyone on or off the clock . He encouraged me to broaden my horizons. He will be truely missed from my heart and soul. My prayers are with the family.
So sorry for your loss. Todd was a good friend and a great father. He will be deeply missed! He'll be watching over his family all the time now! He'll always be in our hearts!

Todd was a great person and 1 of my favorite bosses! He was always encouraging and there if you needed anything. I hope that the family's pain is eased by all the fond memories. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

My thoughts and prayers go to Todd's family. He was truly an amazing person that helped me a lot, he was like an uncle to me. I was proud to call him my boss and will miss him greatly. He taught me a lot in the time that i know him and really made me believe in myself. Rest In Peace Todd.
It is still hard to believe that Todd is really gone. He leaves behind so many memories. Memories that will be shared countless times throughout the days ahead and many years from now. We know the tears will fall like rain but we hope that through the tears smiles will also emerge as all the good memories are shared. Our most heartfelt sympathies to Todd's family at this difficult time. Todd will be missed but he leaves behind a legacy of his teachings for you to live by.
