Donald's Obituary 
Donald Jebson, 92, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012. He had been a Resident of Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa, Iowa.
Graveside services and burial celebrating Donald's life will be held at 1 P.M., Monday, September 17th, 2012, at the Elmwood Cemetery in DeWitt, Iowa. There is no visitation. The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family.
Donald was born on January 27, 1920 in DeWitt, Iowa. He was the first son of Frederick and Edna (Linch) Jebson. Donald was born and raised on the Jebson acreage on the north side of DeWitt. He lived there for many years with his twin sister, Dorothy Jebson. At the nursing home he enjoyed listening to music and his pipe.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Deena Jebson of DeWitt and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters Dorothy Jebson and Doris "Betty" (Harry) Forrest and brother, John Jebson.
The family would like to thank the staff at Crestridge in Maquoketa for their excellent care of Donald over the last few years.

Donald J. - So many memories from when you lived in DeWitt under the care of Community Care. The bird houses you made, every day, and the wrap around your pipe! You were a unique and delightful man. Rest in Peace, my friend and don't forget my name ..... I finally got you to say it !!

Hi Kid, when my mom arrived at crestridge you used to set outside every night when I came to see her and smoked that pipe of yours. I miss the smell of it, and that growl in your voice.
