Sisihlia "Carly"'s Obituary

Sisihlia "Carly" Anson Aia, 39, of Maquoketa, Iowa, died suddenly on Saturday morning, September 1, 2012, at the Jackson County Regional Health Center in Maquoketa, Iowa.

A celebration of Carly's life will be held at 6:30 P.M., Saturday, September 8, 2012, from the Faith Community Church in Maquoketa, Iowa. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 5:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at the Faith Community Church in Maquoketa. Cremation will follow the celebration. The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family.

Sisihlia Ramon Anson was born on November 27, 1972 in the Federated State of Micronesia to Jacob and Sineko Herson (Ramon) Anson. She grew up in Micronesia and received her education there. She married Dohn Elwin Aia in 1995 in Micronesia.

"Carly" was a homemaker and was a "temp" employee with Sedona Staffing.

"Carly" attended Faith Community Church and was a part of the Maquoketa Island Church congregation there. She loved taking pictures, singing and was always smiling. She was a kind, outgoing, approachable and social person. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

"Carly" is survived by her husband, Dohn Aia of Maquoketa, IA; children, Jake Anson of AR, Tania, Kaydie and Lidieca Aia, all of Maquoketa, IA; 1 grandson; sisters, her twin, Lilly (Pehn) Sotam of Maquoketa, IA, and Lihner Anson and Marline Anson, both of Micronesia; and brothers, Jack, Robert, Pete and Steve Anson, all of Micronesia. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mario.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Sisihlia "Carly" Anson Aia memorial fund has been established.
