Jean's Obituary 
Jean E. Curley, 59, of Beloit, Wisconsin, and formerly of Maquoketa, Iowa, died on Thursday, May 17, 2012 in her home.
She was born May 24, 1952 in Maquoketa, IA, the daughter of Gerald and Florence (Wall) House. Jean was a 1970 graduate of Maquoketa High School. She married Brian Curley on March 1, 1980 in the Little Brown Church, Nashau, IA.
Jean was employed by CVS Pharmacy as a supervisor. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her husband and training their dogs. Jean was an avid bowler, enjoyed camping with her husband, dogs, and friends. She also enjoyed going on many adventures with her sisters, spending time with her friends, and hosting candle parties.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Brian Curley of Beloit, WI; mother, Florence House of Maquoketa, IA; brothers and sisters, James (Mary) House of Miles, IA, Janet Burnett of Streator, IL, Jerry (Linda) House of Delmar, IA and Jane (Donald) McBride of Bernard, IA; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; three great-great nieces; many good friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald House, a brother-in-law, Richard Burnett and a great niece, Hannah Goodrich.
A celebration of Jean's life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa, Iowa. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 in Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, Wisconsin. Visitation will also be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from Carson Celebration of Life Center, Maquoketa, Iowa.

Brian, I am so sorry to hear about Jean. It has been years since I have seen you two. My prayers go out to you and all family and friends.
Brian, thoughts & prayers will be with you at this sad time. Jean was such a special person, always seen her with a smile on her face. She will be with you always in your heart & memories. Friends are always there to talk with so don't forget to lean on them . We will miss her dearly!
Jean & I were always together in school.We stayed at each other house every other week.If you found 1 you found us both.I am so sad I can't even express how sad I feel.We were going to try to come to Belleview to see her and meat Brian and my neice bought house there.Melody that was our 3 pal that ran with us all the time does live in Bellview to.I wish I could have seen and talked to her before she passed.I was looking forward to seeing both in Oct..I will miss her greatly.

I'm sending my deepest sympathies too Brian, Florence and the entire family. It's so hard to believe that this has happened. I hope you can all find strength in each other and know that she will always be with us all.
So sorry to hear about Jean. I went to school with her and we had many great times together. Stay close to family and friends. My prayers are with you and the family.

Jean made the world a better place and we were fortunate to have shared spcial time with her and Brian. Our thoughts and prayers reach out to Brian and all of Jeans family.
To the family of Jean. Jean was an awesome person who will be greatly missed. She always had a smile for everyone. I have wonderful memories from our younger years. She was a good friend.
Brian, I know no one cal feel the pain that you are dealing with right now, but remember that she will always be with you and there is no more pain for her to deal with. Keep all of the wonderful memories of your lives together close to your heart and she will always be with you forever. Your friends and family will always be here for you so just reach out to any of us and we will be there.
I did not know Jean ;but as a teacher at Oxford Junction for over 25 years I want to extend my thoughts and prayers to a great guy, Brian. God bless and always look upward!

Brian, You are in our thoughts. Jean's smile and sense of humor was contagious and will surely be missed. Remember you have friends that are here for you.
Jean and i go back a long ways from high school days, i was a head of her(class of 68), but will remember how full of fun she was...and got to know her better in the last few years...God has a good person now, and one that will keep them in line for sure... thinking of you!!!
Brian, please know how very special Jean was to us. We go back along way. She will be missed so much but her smile will live on in my mind. The door is open if you need a friend.
