Diane, Denyse, Denny, and Dawn....I was so sorry to read of the loss of your mom. She was always kind to me when I visited your house, Diane. That seems like a long time ago. She's one of the ladies I feel like I have known nearly all of my life, and I remember her with fondness. My sympathy to all of you!
Randy and I were so sorry to hear about Evelyn. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
I think I remember playing a record was the rest of the kids and one of the songs was These Boots Were Made for Walking that was a fun time..
Evelyn always had a smile for everyone and was so sweet! She could dance like a breeze and I always enjoyed seeing her out and about! We are thinking of your family with love...💕
Diane and family so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She was a very special lady.
I am so sad that Aunt Evelyn has passed. i know she was ill and that shes in a better place with Uncle Leonard now but it doesnt lessen the sadness. Im going to wrap myself in great memories like playing on her jig porch in the kids kitchen witjlh Diane and Dawn while she hosted Avon and Tipperware parties for Grandma. She'd bring us out our own snacks and fill our teapots with coca cola and give is a bunch of sample lipsticks to play with. We'd put on ten layers and cover all the dolls and she'd never be mad. I remember summer picnics and her and mom helping us catch fire flies and teaching us to skate. She was so very fun and so nice to all of us. When i was little she taught me how to dance the polka....she was a wonderful Aunt and a wonderful freind and sister to my mother. Aunt Evelyn touched a lot of lives and will be greatly missed.
My sympathies to the family as we say good-bye to another icon of the Dodds family. May she rest in peace in God's glory. Julie Jurkowski
